Microservices Manchester - Setting the scene - Tuesday, August 16, 2016
- Posted: 15/08/2016
The first meetup of the Microservices Manchester group is taking place on Tuesday 16th August, starting at 7:00pm, at the MadLab Northern Quarter:
36-40 Edge St
More info about what to expect:
David Dawson from Simplicity Itself will be opening with a brief 20 minute presentation covering the past, present and future of Microservices. David is the organiser of the hugely popular London Microservices User Group.
Daniel Bryant from OpenCredo will be continuing the evening with his popular presentation "The 7 Deadly Sins of Microservices", highlighting common mistakes when implementing Microservice systems.
The focus can be made more or less technical on the night, and we'll do a show of hands among attendees to determine the appropriate level.
There will be food and drink provided by Oliver Bernard.
We'd also like to take the opportunity to determine the direction of this group. Attendees will be asked to share their areas of interest, which will drive future talk selection.
