Agile London at Ve Interactive - Tuesday 6th Sept

We are very pleased to announce that we are now good to go for our next Agile London event, to be hosted by on Tuesday 6th September 2016 – it’s a 6:30pm start at:

3-4 Hardwick Street

VeLabs, the technology arm of Ve interactive, will be hosting an evening on “How Agile is being used in established teams”. You will hear from industry experts, who will share their experiences and explore the latest advancements in Agile techniques being used in the industry.  Biographies and more details about the event can be seen on the Agile London website (under Agile Events tab) but a brief overview of our speakers and their talks as follows:

Marcin Bazydlo (Software Developer at Ve Interactive) – Breaking Bonds: How intrapreneurship is encouraged with practices and technology.
In an Enterprise-scale organisation making lean changes can be difficult. There are often many legacy systems in place, alongside requirements and processes that make it difficult to deliver change. This talk will give an insight as to how Marcin worked with another developer using their 20% innovation time to deliver a new user experience. He will explore the technology he used to implement testing within a safe and secure manner, and how it was used to directly increase revenue.

Mattia Richetto (Senior Software Engineer at OpenTable) – Agile at OpenTable; Anatomy of an Iteration.
We all know the theory behind the Agile methodology, but very often we struggle when we actually have to implement it. In this talk Mattia will share with you what his team is doing at OpenTable and how they are constantly trying to improve.

Susan Zhang (Tech Creative Specialist at Google) – 3-4 Myths about Agile and how I applied to this to life and work.
After working in the fast paced world of the tech industry for a few of years Susan quickly realised the importance of being Agile, and the inherent benefits of Agile methodologies. Susan will share her experiences of how to remain Agile within a professional environment while still maintaining a normal, happy and fulfilling personal life.

As always, numbers are limited so please sign up at ASAP as we operate a first come, first served policy for our members. This will once again be a free event although we would love for attendees to make a contribution to Code Club on our justgiving page: Our kind hosts will also be providing refreshments on the evening!

Any questions, please direct to; we really look forward to seeing many of you at Ve early next month.
