Agile Innovation with Playtech - Thursday 23rd November
- Posted: 15/11/2017
We’re excited to announce the next Agile London meetup on Thursday 23rd November, which will be hosted at the Playtech offices in Camden. We will be discussing Agile Innovation and Enterprise Companies.
About our hosts:
In London, Playtech Innovation Labs are changing the way we make and distribute content. Playtech are pioneers of Omni-channel gaming and is the world’s largest supplier of online and sports betting software. They’ve committed to leading the industry and make it their priority to offer cutting-edge, value added solutions to the industry's leading operators as well as to give the best and newest experiences to their customers.
On the night, we will have presentations from:
Toby Sucharov, Manager of Playtech Innovation Labs, “Innovation in the Enterprise”
Carl Pearse - Head of Global Delivery at Funding Circle, "Being Agile during Anarchy"
Toby Sucharov will be talking about the factors currently affecting large scale Innovation. Issues up for discussion will include: the difference between Agile and Innovation; how a project should own its processes and not the company; and why Enterprise companies are having trouble innovating. In addition to these points, he will be sharing tips on best practice and how you too can introduce Agile Innovation to Enterprise Companies.
We'll then hear from Carl Pearse, Head of Global Delivery at Funding Circle on how they adapt during their journey of re-platforming. Re-platforming can often take years and involves both technical risk and uncertainty especially when adopting and choosing new technology; in addition to continually delivering value for the business. Pearse will walk us through how they learn and adapt along the way.
There will be time to ask your questions. If you are keen to attend, saving your seat for the evening is as simple as joining our Agile London group on our Meetup page. Events of this type are free for all to attend and as our kind hosts will be providing refreshments, we ask that you consider donating to our charity partner, Code Club.
